My name is Colleen Jaycox and I am from Saint Louis, Missouri. I work for a marketing and advertising company, in the interactive department as an Interactive Account Manager. I love my job because it enables me to be a part of a creative and innovative team – building custom solutions for a wide variety of clients.
Prior to joining my current firm, I was able to intern with three great companies to gain experience in the marketing communication industry. At a sales promotion agency, I worked with the Dewar’s and Disaronno brand teams as an account coordinator intern. I also interned for two years with the Marketing and Web Services department at Saint Louis University while I was a student at SLU studying Communication and Marketing. I spent one summer working with a specialty building products company, as an in-house marketing intern.
I am interested in learning more about how people use the Internet – whether it’s for personal communication and social networking, information-seeking, or e-Commerce. Call me a dork, but I love to learn new things. I am fortunate to make a living learning about the web and helping companies communicate and do business using emerging technology.

I like your blog! I went to SLU as well and work for a marketing services firm, NSI, here in St. Louis. Hope to chat it up sometime with you.

Just kidding.
I was stalking my buddy Bobby and saw his comment on the blog. Small world.

Hi, Colleen…we both show up when you search “moosylvania marketing blog” on google…that’s how I found you.
Just wanted to say Hi!
I was a new media coordinator at Moose, and love reading your internet insights …keep’em comin’. Technologically minded folks in St. Louis make me glad.
I’d love to know what interactive marketing focused blogs you read…you should have a blogroll! I’ll be watchin’ for it.
all the best, Lori

Lori, thanks for your comment and suggestion for a blog roll. Lately I’ve been a little obsessed with seaofshoes.com and whatiwore.tumblr.com – not marketing related… but a guilty pleasure. I will try and put together a list sometime soon!
